TYX SILK

The transformation from silkworm to silk
TYX WEAVING
Our silkworm base in Guangxi is far away from the city, good mountains and good water to raise silkworms.
01
Good silk begins at the source
Mulberry
"All-Age Intelligent Industrial Sericulture" has broken through the seasonal, climatic, and regional limitations of traditional sericulture, improving the yield of high-quality silkworm cocoons and fundamentally solving the adverse effects of raw material shortages and price fluctuations on the silk industry's development. At the same time, we are using the sericulture industry to aid in the revitalization of surrounding rural areas.
02
Silk
From cocoon to silk
After drying, the cocoon is transformed into high-quality raw silk which can be used for textile. The whole reeling process is completed in our Guangzhou reeling factory.
Boil the cocoons
By utilizing the effects of water and heat, the outer sericin layer of the cocoon silk is appropriately swollen and dissolved, enabling the silk filaments to be smoothly and continuously unwound during reeling.
Reeling
Silk filaments are thin and have limited length, and cannot be directly used as long silk. Only by combining and connecting several silk filaments together to make raw silk can they be used as raw materials for silk weaving or knitting.
Doubling and twisting
Doubling and twisting can improve the formation of the hank or skein of raw silk, making it soft to the touch, with consistent color and quality, eliminating defects and preventing breakage, which is beneficial for silk weaving production. At the same time, it is also convenient for storage and transportation.
Raw silk
Raw silk is soft, smooth, and full to the touch, with good tensile strength and elasticity, a soft luster, strong moisture absorption, and no irritation to the human body. It is a high-quality textile material.
High-quality raw silk is the key to weaving luxurious silk fabrics, and the produced raw silk will be sent to Tongyixin Weaving Factory to complete the final transformation from silk cocoon to silk fabrics.
03
From silk to cloth
Excellent water and air from Guangxi have unique advantages in textile processing, and the combination of traditional craftsmanship and innovative technology gives our textiles a superior texture.
Weaving
Filament
Wrapping raw silk onto a bordered reel is beneficial for subsequent processing, as well as for checking the diameter of the raw silk and removing defects and impurities from the raw silk.
Doubling
Doubling can result in a more uniform distribution of silk threads, remove some of the weak spots in the original individual threads, increase the strength of the silk, and also add some weight to the finished fabric.
Twisting
Twisting can create a tightly stable structure in silk threads, enhancing their cohesion. It can also alter the visual effects or mechanical properties of the silk threads to meet requirements for the appearance and various purposes of the fabric.
Turning
After being heat-set, the twisted silk threads tend to stick to each other due to the influence of steam, which hinders subsequent processes. Therefore, it is necessary to use a rewinding machine to unwind and rewind the silk from the twisting tube.
Warping

Warping is the process of winding yarn on a knitting shaft for weaving. The warp system of the warping machine is an important part of the high quality of all silk woven fabrics.

Weaving

After warping, according to the fabric organization, the warp on the knitting shaft is successively passed through the warp stop, heald and reed according to the machine drawing on the fabric. The weaving process can only be carried out by assembling the warp shaft together with the reed and the harness after the reed is finished.
